Welcome to the world of Japanese traditional performing arts. I am LUNA, the president of LUNA Production. As a child, I was captivated by the beauty of Western people and their arts, such as ballet and opera.
I used to be skeptical of the notion that "Japanese women were the most beautiful in the world," but one day, I had the privilege of witnessing Tamasaburo Bando, the Kabuki actor and living national treasure, performing onnagata (female-form) Japanese dance, and I was utterly enchanted.
Together with Yuko Wada, our supervisor, we are committed to sharing the enchanting allure of Japan's unique traditional performing arts with the world. We eagerly anticipate offers and support from around the globe.

Traditional performing arts, now designated as national Important Intangible Cultural Properties, were once considered avant-garde in their early days and were even known as 'kawahara' (riverbank) beggars.
Take, for example, Noh, which gained prominence when Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the warlord from the Warring States period, generously sponsored Kan'ami and Zeami, two Noh performers, providing them with the financial support that elevated their artistry to its zenith. These traditions have been passed down for several hundred years and continue to be revered today.
In medieval Italy, wealthy families like the Medicis became patrons of the arts, supporting world-class artists of the time such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, whose masterpieces enriched the world. Both the creation and preservation of traditional performing arts rely on financial support. By becoming a sponsor, you contribute to the preservation of these traditions, the creation of avant-garde art for our times, and the establishment of traditions for the future.
